Since 2011 Hivos will focus on four main themes: Expression dan Engagement, Rights dan Citizenship, Green Entrepreneurship and Action for Change. The SWITCHa �Asia project falls under the Green Entrepreneurship theme and is a project coa �funded by the European Union.

Working with implementing partners in Indonesia and the Philippines, SWiTCHa �Asia project aims to promote sustainable consumption and production (SCP) of handa �woven ecoa �textiles in Indonesia and the Philippines. The SWITCHa �Asia project will achieve the aim through scaling up successful SCP practices throughout the market chain, and development of an enabling policy environment.

The project duration is 4 years and during the period, is designed to reach 7,000 entrepreneurs in the handa �woven textile value chain (weavers, natural dye and fiber producers), 220 entrepreneurial groups and 40 cooperatives, 250,000 urban consumers and 30 local, provincial and national government bodies

The SWITCHa �Asia Junior Project Officer will be part of the management team overseeing the project, designed to be delivered with the following implementing partners in Indonesia and the Philippines: Association for Women in Small Business Assistance (ASPPUK in Indonesia), Nona �Timber Forest Products a � Exchange Programs (NTFPa �EP in Philippines), Cita Tenun Indonesia (CTI in Indonesia), Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP in Indonesia) and the Philippines Textile Research Institute.

Job Description :
The SWITCHa �Asia Junior Project Officer will be assisting the Project Manager to ensure the contract management and implementation of the project is delivered as outlined in the Project Contract with the European Union and to meet with HIVOS standard.

Specific tasks:To support the SWITCHa �Asia Project Manager in monitoring and managing the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementing partnersa � performance. In particular: monitoring and evaluation tasks, compiling financial and technical reports of the project implementation in accordance to EU dan HIVOS standard.To assist the SWITCHa �Asia Project Manager in the day to day project administration and management, including but not limited to: processes funding request from partners, prepare grant/contract agreements, organise seminars/training/events, contribute to development of programme report/other communication materialsTo provide technical support to implementing partners, if required. The support would require short term but frequent travel to different locations in Indonesia dan the PhilippinesTo manage SWITCHa �Asia correspondence with stakeholdersReport directly to the SWITCHa �Asia Project ManagerQualifications :Minimum 2 years of professional experience in private sector or donor organization, on project management.Has a strong experience managing administrative and financial reporting of a projectCan demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa IndonesiaCan demonstrate successful track record working in and within multidisciplinary teamHas a strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skill with internal and external stakeholdersPreference will be given to candidate with EUa �funded project management experiencePrevious working experience in an international environment/organization would be an advantagePassion in capacity building, social development or entrepreneurshipa �related issues would be an advantage.Having respect for humanitarian or humanist principles and willing to work in a nona �discriminating, neutral, impartial and gender equal environmentContract :
The contract will be with Hivos Regional Office Southeast Asia (ROSEA). The appointment will be for 12 (twelve) months with possible extension. Hivos Terms and Conditions for Indonesian staff are applicable
