Position Opening:N Full-Charge Bookkeeper

JMD is in search of a full-charge bookkeeper for our Banda Aceh main office.N The position oversees the daily recording of financial transactions and is also responsible for processing and analyzing financial transactions, preparing detailed statements and reports, and assisting with the development and revision of budgets that are part of funding proposals.

The candidate must possess a university degree and have at least two yearsa � experience working in a business setting, preferably in a non-profit or NGO.N Computer/internet proficiency and knowledge of computer spreadsheet software (including Excel) is essential. Duties will include monitoring and maintenance of accurate records of all financial activities of the agency, including payroll and benefits, accounts payable/receivable, verification and validation of financial data, and timely creation of periodic financial reports and balance sheets to a variety of internal and external sources. The position may be required to supervise a bookkeeping/administrative assistant.

Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.N Must be able to travel to locations within Banda Aceh and occasionally outside the city as required.

Excellent communications skills in both Indonesian and English.

Attention to detail is essential.

Salary: up to 5,000,000 per month plus benefits, depending on experience.
