N Objective:
The Monitoringand Evaluation Statistician will support a USAID democracy and governance activity in Indonesia. The project aims to contribute to good governance in Indonesia by strengthening integrity and accountability in government, and improving the delivery of public services by local governments in the areas of health, education, and enabling environments for business.
Accountability:
Report directly to the MdanE Team Leader on all administrative issues, and the MdanE Advisor on technical issues regarding the impact evaluation
N Responsibilities of the Monitoring and Evaluation Statistician:Contribute to the design and implementation of the KINERJA Performance Management Plan (PMP), including:suggesting revisions and refinements, as necessarycreating or modifying indicator reference sheets for new or refined KINERJA performance indicatorsOversee the collection, analysis, and management of all KINERJA-related performance data. This includes collection of primary data, especially for impact and goal-level indicatorsAnalyze and summarize performance monitoring data for inclusion in updates and reportsParticipate in presentation of such updates and reports to project management, USAID, Government of Indonesia, and other KINERJA partners, as necessaryAssist in developing survey instruments and methodology, as necessaryAssist the MdanE Advisor in the design and implementation of experimental or quasi-experimental impact evaluation(s), including:Site selectionData cleaning and management of primary dataPreliminary statistical analysisSupport for reportingEnsure that all data collected and analyzed by other KINERJA partners meets minimum quality and statistical standardsMaintenance of KINERJA indicators database, including:Entering and managing the collected data into the Kinerja MdanE Databaseupdating the collected data content when new data is availablemanaging the KINERJA MdanE related data/information in the shared driveMaintenance of KINERJA web-based MdanE system, including:supervision of the web developer for the KINERJA MdanE systemstorage of service providersa � approved periodic reporting formsupdating performance indicators status (including the USAID indicators) where it is accessible for project management and USAIDN Undertake field travel in support of Kinerja MdanE, as necessaryQualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation of donor-funded democracy and governance improvement projectsExperience developing or applying indicators of complex political, economic, and/or social changeExperience in data collectionM.A. or M.S. degree in related field such as statistics, quantitative methods, political science;Strong team working and client relationship skillsDemonstrated ability to write clear and concise technical documentsDemonstrated familiarity with research methods, statistics, and statistical software (SPSS or similar).Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian highly desirableQualified applicants should send an updated CV and cover letter (inN English) toN FShintarianti--at--socialimpact.com.
