Oxfam Papua Enterprise Development Programme

Oxfam works in Papua to address poverty and suffering through supporting development, humanitarian and advocacy interventions. We currently work to improve the livelihoods of the poor, build participation in governance and save lives by delivering humanitarian assistance. All of our work promotes gender equality.

Oxfam is seeking experienced and highly motivated individual to fill national position based in Papua to work on the Oxfam Papua Enterprise Development Programme.

Programme Coordinator

One 621position to be based in Jayapura - Papua

The job will coordinate and support the work of all PEDP program management tasks at Jayapura office, and provide advisory inputs to PM PEDP. The PC will be work closely with the PM PEDP in achieving overall program requirements based on PEDP time frames and budget Plan. She or he will be line managed by the Area Program Manager.

Qualifications:

N Significant program management experience in community or economic including small business development;

N Significant program financial management skills;

N Strong community development skills and previous experience with ethical business development and or management;

N Experience in working in Papua is desirable;

N Experience and skill in building staff capacities to assess, design, plan and manage projects is essential;

N Good people management skills and able to motivate and manage a team of program officers working remotely;

N Analytical skills with ability to honestly assess, evaluate and draw up plans for action to improve the program;

N Ability to take and analyze information from different parts of the program into well written progress reports;

N Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with people from various cultural and social backgrounds;

N Effective writing and effective verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with skills in English is anadvantage.
