International NGO seeks *Program Officer*.N The primary responsibilities will be to assist the implementation of USAID/AUSAID Monitoring dan Evaluation tools, Conducting surveys and to Coordinate the implementation of assigned projects and programs of IFES projects in Indonesia.
The position is Jakarta based and full time. Anticipated start in June 2013.

Currently we are seeking *Program Officer* to help project implementation in IFES Indonesia.
*Scope of Work: *Provide IFES Indonesia and partner organization with advice on the full range of technical and operational issues relating to elections a � for example, voter registration, voting and counting processes, election logistics, as required;Proactively seek out ways to assist electoral partner organizations in all areas related to the conduct of elections;Assist with development of the project monitoring and evaluation system as well as monitor and ensure the quality of voter information products and programs, assess their impact, and make recommendations aimed at improving quality or impact as required.Undertake research and write reports on issues related to the conduct of elections, based on IFES experience and/or international best practice;Liaise closely with members and officials of Indonesiaa �s electoral institutions and support ongoing working relationship,Coordinate the planning, administration and logistics for special events undertaken by IFES in the area of election management trainings, workshops or other events;Coordinate and implement assigned projects and programs aimed at increasing electoral information through mass media and other direct forms of communication;Coordinate electoral information activities with civil society actors, and partner organizations within the public and private sectors, as required;Assist with the translation of technical documents from Bahasa Indonesia to English (and vice versa) in standard electoral wording, as required;Report regularly on project activities to the Senior Project Officer, the Deputy Chief of Party and the Chief of Party;Undertake such as other duties as may be requested/directed from time to time;Travel as required;*Requirements: *At least 3 years or comparable of experience of working in an international environment, ideally with significant experience in implementing democratic development projects and international program management;Significant experience in implementing USAID/AUSAID monitoring and evaluation tools.Significant experience in conducting surveys.Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and oral;A high level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment;Strong analytical skills;Ability to take initiative and work within tight deadlines;Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Programs, Excel, Internet) required;Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to make independent decisions; andA degree in political science or related field.Interested candidates may send their application to:
