Cocoa Sustainability Partnership (CSP) is a public-private forum for the advancement of communication and working together between stakeholders actively engaged in cocoa development initiatives in Indonesia. The CSP exists to increase communication, coordination and collaboration between public and private stakeholders engaged in cocoa sustainability activities in Indonesia for the mutual benefit of all cocoas sector players. The day to day management of the forum is run by a secretariat located in Makassar.
Secretariat function is to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing among CSP members and other stakeholders in cocoa industry.

Cocoa is an important commodity in Indonesia, especially because about 1.6 million smallholder farmers relies their livelihood on this commodity. However, in these last two decades, the cocoa sector in Indonesia has been impacted by problems that have decreased the productivity and production of cocoa. Furthermore, these conditions have decreased farmer income and affecting their livelihoods and in which has caused many farmers lost their interest to cocoa farming. To address these issues and to ensure sustainability of cocoa supply, cocoa sustainability programs have been developed and being implemented by stakeholders in the value chain, including private sectors, INGOs, NGOs and government.
These programs aimed to increase productivity and production of cocoa and through improving the farmera �s capacity on cocoa farming and establishing pro-farmer business
environment.

Currently, there has been a need expressed by the cocoa stakeholder involved in CSP to assess the progress and impact of these sustainability programs. Therefore, CSP is developing an impact assessment and progress tracking measurement to address this need. In relation to that, CSP Secretariat is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the post of Data Analyst/Coordinator to run this activity. He/she will be based in Makassar.

Purpose of the Position:To work with CSP members develop framework and indicators and work with them to monitor impact and progress of cocoa sustainability programs in Indonesia. The indicators should include social, economic and environment measurement.Reports to:
General Secretary
Main Duties and Responsibilities:Develop in collaboration with the CSP members working groups indicators and framework to measure impact of cocoa sustainability programs;In collaboration with CSP members, develop baseline data/information on cocoa sustainability programs and activities in Indonesia;Conduct data collection and analysis based on the established indicators and provide reports on the results. This includes organizing stakeholder workshops to get feedback on the results. The data collected is mainly secondary data and key data sources are CSP members. However, primary data may be collected whenever necessary;Collect other related data/information regarding cocoa sector development and transform them into a more usable format that can be used by CSP members or other stakeholders;Develop an information/data library within the CSP, electronically as well as physically;Perform any other duty as requested to support CSP activities.Requirements:Bachelor degree in relevant discipline (agriculture, statistic, etc) with minimum 5 years experience in Monitoring dan Evaluation and reporting;Proven knowledge in Monitoring dan Evaluation systems (design, implementation, evaluation tools, methods and techniques);Have experience in conducting surveys and data analysis;Strong analytical thinking and interpersonal skills;Additional coordination and management skills will be an advantage;Have ability to write and produce reports in English and Bahasa Indonesia;Good command in English, both written and verbally;Strong computer skills, including ease and skill in using Microsoft Excel and Access, SQL, and statistical software such as SPSS, CS Pro; SAS, Stata, R, or GIS.Please send your Letter of Interest, CV and your recent photograph by surat elektronik [surel/email] to *rindrayanti--at--gmail*.com with subject: *a �CSP Data Analyst/Coordinatora t*, the latest by *25 May 2013*.
