The Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) is a French non-profit organization working in over 30 countries worldwide to provide emergency response, early recovery, and development assistance to communities in need. ACTEDa �s interventions seek to cover multiple aspects of humanitarian and development crises through a multidisciplinary approach that is both global and local, and adapted to each context.
ACTEDa �s vision is to establish emergency, rehabilitation, and development. ACTED aims to guarantee the sustainability of relief interventions carried out during crises by remaining in the field after the emergency to engage in long-term support to communities in food security, health, education, economic assistance, microfinance, advocacy, and cultural promotion. ACTEDa �s actions are needs based and identified in a participatory manner with communities in the areas where we are present. ACTED has been active in Indonesia since April 2005, assisting those affected by the tsunami and Nias earthquake and is now working to support livelihoods, community-based disaster risk reduction, and child protection in North Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), and elsewhere.

FINANCE dan COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT

The Finance dan Compliance Assistant is responsible for conducting basic financial tasks for the Jakarta Office, including producing and filing financial documentation, processing payments, cash requests, accounting, budget tracking, and maintaining Finance, Logistics, and Administration Team (FLAT) folders for audit compliance. The Finance dan Compliance Assistant also submits monthly finance and related reports to country finance management and may also manage petty cash as needed. The Finance dan Compliance Assistant will liaise with field-based project finance staff in ACTED project locations (North Sumatra, NTT) and may assist with consolidation and filing of financial information at Capital level.

Professional Qualifications and Skills:Minimum bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business or other relevant educational background required;At least three 623years previous work experience in finance (NGO or private sector) that involved processing and tracking payments, accounting, and producing financial and other reporting.English fluency (speaking, reading, writing) is required;Meticulous attention to detail and documentation required;Problem-solving and analytical skills, results-oriented and sensitivity to gender issues;Able to follow instructions from line manager and work independently when appropriate;Excellent knowledge and use of Excel and Word required; familiarity with various accounting software desired;Personal Qualities:Flexible and adaptable, willing to learn new skills and conform to new systems and situations;Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;Honest, responsible, self-motivated and able to take initiative under minimum supervision;Ability to work as part of a team in a cross cultural environment;In order to apply, please submit 621cover letter stating how your experience and qualifications meet the above qualifications, as well as your availability and salary expectation, and 622your Curriculum Vitae (CV) in English labeled with your name (maximum file size 200KB).
