Bali MPA Network Technical Officer

Responsibilities:Assist the Bali MPA Network Manager to socialize the MPA networkN concept and benefit of fisheries and non-extractive economic benefitsN of MPAs to all stakeholders in Bali, in cooperation with our mainN conservation partners and utilizing both formal courses and otherN outreach media.Assist the Bali MPA Network Manager to facilitate necessaryN activities to reach the objective of establishing a functional BaliN MPA network (including their gazettement process, advocate policy toN support MPA gazettement, and designation of MPA zoning system) andN their official integration to the 20 Year Bali Spatial PlanAssist the Bali MPA Network Manager to provide technical assistanceN and facilitate the development of local capacity to manage theN proposed Bali MPA Network and obtain agreement on management body ofN the MPA networkAssist the Bali MPA Network Manager to facilitate the developmentN of sustainable financing scenario for the proposed Bali MPA network,N mainly facilitate the supports from Bali based private sectors toN create a sustainable financing for Bali MPAsAssist the Bali MPA Network Manager to prepare regular reports onN the progress of proposed MPA establishment and implementation, andN also necessary communication/outreach products that amplifies the BaliN MPA Network programa �s objectivesRequirements:Have a Bachelora �s degree in environmental management, marine andN fisheries or similarHave 1-3 yearsa � experience working within conservation programsGood inter-personal skills to engage with the stakeholdersN (grass-root communities, NGOs, Government, universities, etc.)Fluent spoken and written EnglishInterested candidates should send a current resume and cover letterN addressing the required skills and capabilities (no more than 3 pages)N to: hrd--at--conservation.or.id
