Vacancy Announcement: Monitoring Dan Evaluation Officer [Jakarta Based]

Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for the Monitoring dan Evaluation Officer (Jakarta based) on our USAID Indonesia Forestry and Climate Support Project (USAID IFACS).

USAID IFACS seeks to reduce the threats of deforestation and climate change, and help the Government of Indonesia (GOI) conserve the country's tropical forests, wildlife, and ecosystem processes (including carbon sequestration).

JOB SUMMARY:

S/he reports to the M dan E Specialist, and is responsible for day-to-day management operations of the IFACS Project of Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) at the outputs and annual outcome levels. S/he supports the M dan E Specialist to develop the monitoring and evaluation instruments, maintains the PMP database, and trains staff in its use.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Provide inputs to IFACS reports on the progress of all IFACS indicators;Review data including reports from grantee and subcontractors;Verification data and input into MdanE database;Manage database for all training and capacity building activities;Responsible for updating TraiNet;Undertaking statistical analysis (SPSS) for pre and post training evaluation report;Work with the regional team to ensure timely reporting on IFACS activities;QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):Graduate degree in community development, demographics, sociology or related disciplineAt least 3 years of work experience related to Monitoring and Evaluation of USAID or other International Donor projectsAttention into the details, is a mustHave analytical and logical mind, is mustFamiliar with Excel and SPSS program, is a mustN Have experience/can demonstrate proficiency in collecting, analyzing and reporting of dataN Background in forestry, natural resources or climate change is an advantageN Native fluency in spoken and written IndonesianProfessional competency in spoken and written EnglishStrong coordination and team playing skillsStrong written and verbal communications skillsDemonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teamsWillingness to travel extensively in IndonesiaPlease submit your recent CV as of 14 April 2013 (the latest) with subject Monitoring dan Evaluation Officer (Jakarta based) to: recruitment--at--ifacs.or.id
