Founded in 1979, ACF International (ActionN Against Hunger) is an internationalN humanitarian organization that delivers programs in over 40 countries.N Recognized worldwide as a leader in the fightN against hunger, our mission is to save livesN through the prevention, detection, and treatmentN of malnutrition, especially during and after emergency situations and conflicts.

ACF has been active in the NTT district since 2007. Around 40 networksN have benefited from a renovation, as have water sources and wells. In theN Kupang District, ACF has only been active since 2011. The district #39;s needs areN still considerable, particularly as the number of stakeholders is lower thanN the neighbouring TTS district. N Moreover,N ACF is due to launch a Nutrition program in Kupang and WASH initiatives will beN implemented in the same sub-districts in order to strengthen the nutritionalN program #39;s impact.

As the program is nowN starting the implementation, we are currently looking for a qualified candidateN to fill the position of N WaSH Technical and Hygiene Promoter Supervisor to workN in Kupang/NTT Province areas.

Initial Contract duration : 6 - 12 months (withN possibility of extension)
Reporting to : WASH Program Manager

Starting date : ASAPEducational / Professional Background:Community Development, Social Science or related field. (with Water/SanitationN background is preferable).Required Competences dan Skills : Community Development skills, RelationalN and diplomatic qualities a � Capacity to organize the work and supervise a teamN Computer skills a � Good knowledge of English a � Experience in the field of WASHN program in IndonesiaKey Assignment: Ensure the quality of the community basedN approach of ACF/Partner program,Follow up of staff and activitiesN Oversee the implementation of STBMN activitiesTraining of water committees and localN masons.Main Objectives :ToN coordinate, supervise and follow up of activities with the local partner.Participate and validate the relevance of the intervention area, theN selection of beneficiariesIdentification of committed players.Ensure the project integration in the local structures.To support the ACF/ Partner team in implementing andN monitoring STBM program.Regular field visits in the project sites;To support the ACF/Partner team to improve their skills in communityN based approach,To train the partner to implement the PRA activity and to ensure theN follow up of the activities,Assist the local partner to organize, design, followN up and implement trainings related to STBM programN Train the ACF/PARTNER team on the KAP survey processLead the final KAP surveyCoordinate with the CDO activities and possibleN measures to secure the sustainability and real impact of the projectTo assure a proper and transparent project managementN Make the planning according to the budget and the timeframeEvaluate and update, if necessary, the program needs (HR, financial,N Logistics)Ensure that all the security requirements are in place.Ensure that the funds are used in a efficient/effective wayReporting and team managementOrganize the teama �s work: (weekly planning, monthly action plan)Conduct regular meetingsElaborate regular reports about the progress of theN workConduct periodical evaluation of his/her team membersParticipate in the evaluation of the local partnerFeedback to project level and his/her directN supervisor.Coordination with other NGOs related to community development workN and/or advocacy of UPS/KPS structure and funding mechanism at the project sites
