AMARTA II is a USAID funded program that aims to improveN the competitiveness of the value chains of export and high-value agricultural commodities, including Coffee, Cocoa and Horticultural crops through improving access to credit, information and markets in these three sectors.N N
The project will work extensively with local government, farmers groups, marketing companies, processors, input suppliers and other stakeholders to increase the income of the whole sector and the proportion of income retained by farmers.
Our project and offices are in Medan, Makassar, Bandung, and our National Office is located in Jakarta.
We are currently seeking experienced professionals to fill the Provision of Graphic Design Consultant Services for Agricultural Market and Support Activity (AMARTA) II.
Duties description:The graphic designer consultant is expected to have a good understanding of the artistic as well as of the technical aspects of graphic design. As such he/she will be requested to carry out the following duties: Creates and manages design concepts, hands-on design and art work to be used for all AMARTA II publications;Generates graphic images/illustrations, interactive presentations, flash files, sound and video into multimedia programs for use on the web or CD/DVD;Design and put into a proper layout for AMARTA IIa �s reports, newsletter, and other templates;Design of AMARTA II publications, brochures and leaflets;Overview of the production process of AMARTA II publications in terms of printing and duplication;Under the advice of the AMARTA IIa �s Communication Specialist to improve from the graphic point of view the web-content of the AMARTA II website;Any other tasks as directed by the AMARTA II Communication Specialist.Reporting lines:
The graphic designer will report to the AMARTA II Communication Specialist.

Qualifications and experience:BA or equivalent in visual communications/graphic design.Knowledge of Photoshop, illustrator, acrobat, and major graphic applications.Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines is essential.Excellent design skills.Relevant working experience as graphic design.Language: Fluent both in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English.Consultancy Period:Over the months of January and December 2013 with 10 working days/month.
