IPPF-ESEAOR is seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to be based at our Regional Office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the following senior level position reporting directly to the Regional Director.
DIRECTOR - FINANCE
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the delivery of high quality, cost effective financial and management services, which are responsive to the needs of stakeholders and critical to ensuring financial viability and continuous organizational stability. The position holder is expected to ensure financial and internal controls, provide financial support and strategic financial advisory services to the ESEAOR Regional Office and Member Associations, and maintain relationships as IPPF representative with stakeholders, partners, donors and government agencies.
Essential Selection Criteria: a An advanced degree in a related field, preferably with Accounting and Financial focus. a At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance and management, preferably in related National, Regional or International NGOs at Management level a Working knowledge of the East and South East Asia and Oceania Region and ability to work in cross cultural settings a Good working knowledge of NGO Financial Management and Business Plans leading to Institutional Sustainability a High level of interpersonal and negotiation skills and ability to work in a team a Excellent written communication skills in English
The above position will initially be offered for a two-year period, subject to review and availability of funds.
