Background
As part of the drive to increase the visibility of The Habibie Center (THC), THC is strengthening its Communications Team. A Communications Officer will be part of this team and will primarily provide both technical and administrative support to the team.

A Communications Officer assists the team with all aspects of communications activities including publications, documentations, maintain data base contacts, media relations and other public relations activities.

Job Description
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Operations, and under the overall supervision of Executive Director, a Communications Officer will:Managing internal and external publications (annual report, journals, newsletters)Assist in organizing events: logistics and documentationsWrite press release/news/articles for periodic publicationsN Update website contents (texts and photos)Assist in maintaining relationship with stakeholders (public relations)Perform other tasks as may be required by the teamQualifications:Undergraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Political Sciences or other related disciplines with some previous internship experience in related fieldsPhotography and basic graphic design skillsExperience in event organizingComputer literacyN Quick learner and easily adapts to the work environmentExcellent working knowledge of written and spoken English and IndonesianPleasant personality (friendly, team player, creative with an interest in taking on a variety of tasks)Interest in democracy and human rights issuesSend your application, CV and cover letter to natassa--at--habibiecenter.or.id (via e-mail only a � applications sent via other than e-mail will not be accepted) no later than Friday, December 14, 2012.
