The Netherlands Education Support Office (NESO) is a non-profit organization funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education. NESO Indonesia is the representative office of NUFFIC, the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher education. NESO promotes and provides information on more than 1500 study programmes taught in English in the Netherlands to Indonesian target groups.

NESO Indonesia is currently recruiting for the position of Alumni Officer, based in Jakarta, to develop and implement alumni policies for the Holland Alumni community in Indonesia.

The main task of the Alumni Officer is to initiate, facilitate, strengthen and maintain relationships with alumni, Dutch Higher Education Institutions, the business community and with other relevant stakeholders in Indonesia and the Netherlands. The alumni officer is expected to contribute to the generic promotion activities of student counselling, market research and other activities of Nuffic Neso Indonesia.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an overall policy plan for alumni activities in IndonesiaOrganize alumni events such as gatherings, job fairs, workshops, seminars, etc.Develop a job placement facility for alumni in cooperation with the business communityImplement promotion activities to increase the number of registered alumni in IndonesiaSet up a pre-registration tool for Indonesians currently studying in the NetherlandsProvide a platform through the Holland Alumni network for alumni, to re-establish, maintain and strengthen their contacts with their former host institutions and with the NetherlandsGather information in order to improve Dutch education promotional activitiesCoordinate and contribute to the Holland Alumni virtual platformManage the Holland Alumni database dan websiteLink alumni activities to relevant third party activitiesProvide training for and ensure the involvement of Holland Alumni for promotion and Neso activitiesRequirements:Minimum Bachelor degree, preferable from NLKnowledge of Dutch higher education systemminimal 2-3 years experience in promotion, marketing or organization activitiesExcellent social and interpersonal skillsExcellent networking, communication and organization skillsAbility to work independently and manage the day-to-day activitiesAbility to prioritize and work with deadlinesExcellent command of spoken and written English, knowledge of Dutch will be an advantageWilling to work and travel outside regular office hoursThorough knowledge of MS office applicationsAble to work in a team and independentlyPlease send your applications via e-mail to recruitment--at--nesoindonesia.or.id Alumni Officer as the subject of your surat elektronik [surel/email], no later than 2 December 2012.
