Senior Mechanical Engineer - Operations (34432BR)

Responsible:
The Mechanical Engineer will report to the Engineering Supervisor. The Mechanical Engineer would be part of the Engineering Team, is responsible for reviewing technical work done by the contractor(s) and providing technical guidance.

Requirements:
a Engineering of Mechanical System modifications and TAR for Tangguh LNG and GPF
a Provide mechanical engineering discipline input to Engineering Services teams to ensure that the design intent is being delivered to provide safe, reliable operations delivering production targets and availability.
a Review mechanical engineering deliverables produced by contractor to ensure compliance with BP standards.
a Prepare ITB of Engineering contracts of Tangguh modifications and/or TAR.
a Provide Inputs to BP Engineering Team on installation details and methods.
a Participate in PHSSERS, HAZIDs, HAZOPS, design reviews and risk assessments
a Identify requirements for design improvements, particularly those that can lead to an inherently safer design.
a Deliver optimum performance from process plant by incorporating lessons learnt and industry practice in modification plant designs
a Interface with colleagues in the Operations Team to ensure experiences and lessons learned are appropriately incorporated into the design philosophies for process systems and equipment
a Proven track to deliver the project including engineering data, drawing, data sheet, and technical support-and good input solution to solve any engineering problem in design, analysis and installation.
a Experience in piping design/Layout activities, piping material selection and stress analysis (static dan dynamic) activities.
a Familiar and Understanding of relevant discipline International Code and Standard. In this case ASME, API, NFPA, BS, ASTM, NEMA, TEMA and etc.
a Familiar with relevant discipline Engineering Software to support engineering activities. In this case. Pipe stress Analysis Software (CAESAR, AUTOPIPE, CAEPIPE), Plant Desin (PDMS, AUTOPLANT), FEM (NASTRAN), AUTOCAD, etc.
a A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
a A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
a Has at least 10 years continuous experience in Mechanical Engineering of oil and gas offshore and onshore projects and facilities, with the last 5 years experience as a Lead Engineer, capable of providing supporting Technical Services to Operating Facilities.
a A broad knowledge of design, selection and application of LNG and/or NGL and gas conditioning equipment in the upstream/ midstream industries
a A broad knowledge of design, selection and application of oil/gas/water separation and conditioning equipment, ideally in the upstream
a Practical experience of oil dan gas plant commissioning and operation
a Have expert knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations relevant to mechanical systems
a Experienced with full cycle of Management of Change (MoC) and Turn Around (TAR) projects.
a Experienced in Operationsa � HAZOPs / functional safety assessments.
a Knowledge of and experience in principles and applications of Integrity Management (IM)

Other essential skills and knowledge:
a Willingness to travel to operating assets in the field up to 25% of the time.
a Willing to work during construction, commissioning and startup.
a Has experience in leading integrated company and contractor team.
a Knowledge and experience of the engineering contractor and supplier communities
a Experience in providing review / verification to complex engineering work-packs.
a Experience in providing mechanical engineering expertise to incident investigation.
a Excellent organizational, planning, written and oral communication skills and multidisciplinary team players.
a Written and oral fluency in English
a Understanding of cost budget development and control of expenditure
a An open and flexible attitude with a commitment to teamwork
