The Asia Foundation, an international non-governmental organization, is seeking applicants for a Monitoring and Evaluation Project Officer for an environmental governance project in Indonesia called SETAPAK. The program issues sub-grants to CSOs at national and local level to carry out program activities. The program also supports NGOs and research institutes to conduct policy-relevant research on the political economy of environmental governance at the local level. The MdanE Project Officer will be responsible for managing the MdanE activities and will also contribute to the management of the research activities.
Candidate should ideally possess:
a Minimum of five years MdanE experience
a Knowledge of environmental governance issues in Indonesia
a Experience working with Indonesian NGOs at province/district level
a Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
a Strong writing skills
a Experience in Kalimantan and/or Papua
a Fluency in both English and Indonesian
