ACDI/VOCA Opportunity: Component Managers

Component Managers, Indonesia
We are currently seeking component managers for multiple positions on an upcoming initiative in Indonesia funded by AusAid entitled PRISMA. The objective of the program is to contribute to reduced poverty and increased competitiveness of poor male and female farmers in four Districts in each of the following provinces: East Java, NTT, NTB, Papua,
West Papua. The program aims to achieve this through improved farmer practices,
increased access to input and output markets, and improved business enabling environment at the regional level. While this program will require a systems approach (i.e., taking into account multiple commodities and value chains), entry points for engagement with local markets are likely to be found in commodities such as seaweed, maize, peanuts, cattle and livestock, and cocoa.

Positions:Results Measurement Manager:N Responsible for ensuring that all interventions are compliant with the DCED Results Measurement Standards, including preparing credible Results Chains and measurement plans, developing an attribution strategy, identifying predicted impact numbers for outreach and target group income changes, exploiting all opportunities for gender impact, and ensuring activities pose no negative environmental consequences. Work closely with the Portfolio Manager in the preparation of quarterly reports on all interventions to ensure that the outputs of the Results Measurement System are fed back into intervention adaptation. This position will require demonstrated experience with the DCED Results Measurement Standard.

Communications Manager:N Lead a communications strategy in support of thePrograma �s core message to all stakeholders. Provide technical assistance to intervention staff in the design
of terms of reference and supervision of media companies that will be hired to carry out individual interventions.
Sector/Value Chain Managers:N Responsible for the cluster of interventions in his/her assigned sector or value chain. Lead value chain studies, sector analysis, identification of intervention concepts, oversee the delegation of these interventions for implementation and regularly assess their relative importance and relevance to the Programa �s portfolio.
BEE Grant Managers:N Provide design and implementation oversight of business enabling environment interventionsN and lead the generation of interventions connected with a district-level Matching Grant scheme.N
Provincial Managers:N Manage the intervention portfolio in their designated province. Serve as the first line of communications with the provincial authorities of the Government of Indonesia.
District Facilitators:N Oversee interventions in their designated district and manage relations of the Program with the district officials of the Government of Indonesia. Lead the design and implantation of pipeline interventions and operational interventions.
