Lowongan Kerja Terbaru The British Embassy in Jakarta is part of a world-wide network of 230 Diplomatic Posts, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas.

PROSPERITY OFFICER

The Prosperity Officer position is in the Embassya �s five person Prosperity and Economic Section, which leads Embassy work to support the UK economy, and sustainable global economic development, and develop closer links with Indonesia in these areas. The section leads on economic and trade policy, promoting the UK economy, and work to improve the Indonesian business environment. It collaborates closely with other parts of the Embassy and British Council on trade and investment, education, climate change and energy security work, and oversees projects that support UK Prosperity objectives in Indonesia.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Analyzing, researching, and reporting to the UK government and business on Prosperity issues in Indonesia and how they might affect UK interests. In particular on trade and investment policy, the business environment, including corruption.
* Building and maintaining excellent working level contacts with relevant government Ministries, agencies, business, and other organisations including embassies, multilateral organisations, NGOs and research organisations.
* Assisting the Head of Section and Team Economist in their influencing work to achieve Prosperity Objectives, including by identifying opportunities to advance UK Prosperity objectives through events, communications and project work.

Attributes required:
* Knowledge of, and interest in, Prosperity issues. Experience of research work.
* Strong written and oral communications in Indonesia and English.
* Flexibility, resilience under pressure, with a proven track record of delivering results to a high standard under tight time scales. A self-starter able to work with little supervision.
* Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work with people of different levels and backgrounds and to develop and use networks effectively.

Minimum qualification:
* Bachelora �s degree in economics, business or social sciences and at least 3 years work experience, or equivalent level expertise gained from work experience ;
* Experience of a similar role in another Embassy, international organisation, government, or media organisation;
* Good IT skills, familiar with MS Office.

The British Embassy offers a competitive remuneration package, inclusive of salary, benefits and training opportunities. The job is linked to the British Embassya �s Locally Engaged Grade LE2 pay scale starting at IDR 9,567,538 per month.Employment offers are subject to successful clearance of pre-employment checks. In relation to this, the successful candidate will need to arrange his/her own Police Certificate. You must also have the permit to work in Indonesia in order to apply.
