POSITION: IT STAFF
A National NGO based in Yogyakarta that supported the development of community media and the use of information and communication technology (ICT), as parts of the system and network for developing community information and communication, invites qualified applicants for a ICT Staff.
The primary job responsibility for the web developer position is to provide PHP programming and functionality for a variety of consumer-related websites, intranets, extranets and web-based applications. You will be challenged on a daily basis to solve problems in new and creative ways.
A successful candidate will have demonstrable experience building real online applications in a Ldan environment and will be able to make a meaningful contribution from day one.
You will be comfortable working with team members at all levels and departments within
the organization. You will be willing to share your opinions and insights with business
leaders in order to affectN rapid decision cycles and effective technical solutions to business
requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or commensurate work experienceN PHP web application developmentDBA experience with MySQLProficient in Web services / SOAP / XMLKnowledge of (X)HTML, CSS and JavascriptRelevant W3C standards and best practicesAbility to translate business requirements into system designAbility to partner and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environmentStrong debugging skills and the ability to easily and quickly read and modify existing code We are looking for someone who has worked as a developer and has experience with web services, database design, setup and administration, as well as PHP development with wellstructured, scalable and maintainable code.
