URGENTLY REQUIRED The USAID project Prioritazing Reform, Innovation and Opportunities for Reaching Indonesiaa �s Teachers, Administrators, and Students (PRIORITAS)will focus on capacity building and quality improvements forteacher training institutions (TTI) and for non-academic, pre-serviceteacher training providers. PRIORITAS will build the capacity ofschools and MoEC, MORA national, provincial and district offices together with pre-and
in-serviceteacher training organizations tocoordinate, plan andtrain.
The PRIORITAS is currently seeking qualified individuals to fill thepositions Provincial Office
Managers These positions will be based inNanggroe AcehDarussalam, North Sumatera, West Java, Banten, Central Java, East Java and South Sulawesi.
The Office Manager's responsibilities will include: Manage the office and oversee day-to-day administrative tasks. This will include managing the administration and support team, including: office staff, security and drivers.Liaise with project partners in government, non-government and private sectorsLiaise with specialist staff and District Coordinators to ensure that requests for administrative support are responded to appropriately and that administration and support staff are able to manage workloads and commitments effectively and efficientlyBe responsible for overall completion of all administration and support tasks in the Provincial Office. This will include:Management of provincial adminteamScheduling responsibility as required by managementPreparation of business letters, reports and other documentsRecording of notes via dictation or meeting minutesRecord keeping, file maintenance and general office organizationArranging, attending and contributing to internal meetingsOther administrative and management duties as required. Qualifications:
3 years experience in administration and office management for USAID or similar projects. At least 2years previous experience in a similar position is required. Knowledge of RTI and/or USAID systems preferred. Professional approach to work activities and high level competence in office setting.Good work ethic and strong desire to complete tasks in a timely manner as directedDemonstrated ability to manage a team, to generate work schedules and work-plans, to delegate and monitor task completion, to establish and maintain working relationships with supervisor and Project staff.High level communication skills.Ability to liaise effectively with government officials and representatives of the NGO and private sector at a high level.Familiarity with protocols for liaising with government.Ability to appreciate international diversity and to establish effective working relationships with international clients.Ability to communicate effectively with staff, including mentoring, supervision and conflict resolution skillsAbility to prepare a variety of business letters, reports and other documents in both English and Indonesian.Skilled with standard Microsoft Office packages. Ability to learn to work with new software as requiredKnowledge and experience in implementing US federal or USAID regulations pertaining to the financial administrationand Procurementof government contracts in projectsGeneral Effective interpersonal skills are required to manage administrative staffStrong procurement and logistics management and administration skills are required.Ability to effectively organize, prioritize work assignments, and work well under pressure and high stress toleranceAbility to work independently and as a team memberAbility to appreciate international diversity and to establish effective working relationships with international clientsAbility to establish and maintain working relationships with supervisor and project staffTo apply please send your CV notlater than August 27, 2012 to :
